Charr against Pulev for “regular” WBA title

Mahmoud Charr (34-4) will fight Bulgarian, Kubrat Pulev (30-3) for “regular” WBA World heavyweight title.

According to the American box-journalist Dan Rafael, fight is supposed to be held in March in Bulgaria.

Charr, which holds “regular” WBA title is searching for the opponent for a while.

He recently made an offer to fight Britain’s Derek Chisora. But the deal was not reached. But according to Rafael, a deal was reached with Pulev team.

Charr last fought on end of 2022, beating Nuri Seferi by TKO in second round.

Pulev returned on ring last month, beating Poland’s Andrzej Wawrzyk by points.
