Warren: Chisora is mandatory challenger of Daniel Dubois for IBF title

Promoter Frank Warren said that Derek Chisora (36-13, 14 KOs) is mandatory challenger of IBF World heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois (22-2, 21 KOs).

Dubois is currently pursing an undisputed world heavyweight title fight against Oleksandr Usyk (23-0, 14 KOs), the WBC, WBO and WBA champion. WBO ordered Usyk to defend title against Joseph Parker (36-3, 24 KOs).

“Chisora is [an IBF mandatory],” promoter Frank Warren told Sky Sports.

“He won it in his last fight and everyone knew what the fight was going to be for. He is the mandatory to our man, ‘Dangerous Dan [Dubois]’, so that’s the position he’s in.”
