Rozicki injured, Mikaelian now will fight Badou Jack for WBC title on May 3

Noel Mikaelian (27-2) will face Badou Jack (28-3-3, 17 KOs) for WBC World cruiserweight title on May 3 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, sources told “The Ring”.

Mikaelian accepted the fight with three weeks’ notice, after Ryan Rozicki (20-1-1, 19 KOs) got injured.

Fight between Jack and Mikaelian will be co-main event on the card. Main event will be fight between Saul “Canelo” Alvarez (62-2-2) and William Scull (23-0) for undisputed super-middleweight title.
