Confirmed, Usyk vs. Dubois for undisputed title on July 19 in Wembley
Oleksandr Usyk (23-0, 14 KOs) will have the opportunity to be for the second time undisputed heavyweight champion when he faces Daniel Dubois (22-2, 21 KOs) on July 17 in Wembley Arena.
Usyk is WBC, WBO, WBA and IBO World heavyweight champion, and Dubois holds IBF title.
Usyk became undisputed champion in heavyweight division when he defeated Tyson Fury in May 2024. After the fight he relinquished the IBF title and defeated Fury also in the rematch.
It will be the second time that Usyk faces Dubois. In first fight on August 2023, Usyk won by KO in round nine. But fight wasn’t without controversy. Usyk was dropped in that fight but Luis Pabon scored the punch as hit under the belt and gave Usyk time to recover.
In the face-off on Monday (April 28), Dubois pushed Usyk and security had to intervene.
