Kharkhuu, Ibrahim and Iliev were exceptional at the Feliks Stamm Memorial Tournament on Day3

Mongolia’s Bilguunsaikhan Kharkhuu, Sweden’s Nebil Ibrahim and Bulgaria’s Viktorio Iliev had excellent victories at 40^th Feliks Stamm Memorial Tournament in Warsaw, Poland on Day3.

Mr. Feliks Stamm was a legendary boxing coach in Poland who built up fantastic teams in the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s.

Uzbekistan’s Mirazizbek Mirzakhalilov won World Championships, Asian Games and Asian Championships and the 55kg boxer was too experienced for Wales’ Cory Jones in the quarter-finals of the weight class.

Poland’s Nikolas Pawlik is a super talented teenager in the host nation’s squad but he was not able to keep the rhythm of his opponent, Mongolia’s Bilguunsaikhan Kharkhuu and he had an early exit from the Feliks Stamm Memorial.

Sweden’s Paris Olympian Nebil Ibrahim started his campaign at the Feliks Stamm Memorial with a success and he continued his winning path against Scotland’s No.1, Aaron Cullen, controlling all of the three rounds with his strength.

Bulgaria’s Viktorio Iliev won several junior and youth competitions in the past and the 19-year-old boxer joined their national team. The Bulgarian talent found the best tactical solutions in his contest against Finland’s tall Ismail Umar and he won this tight 65kg bout.

Uzbekistan’s Olympic Champion and World Champion Asadkhudja Muydinkhudjayev stopped his German opponent, Ousainou Hansen in the first round while Mongolia’s World bronze medallist Battumur Misheelt and Poland’s Bartlomiej Roskowicz also managed his way to the semi-finals at the 65kg.

Germany’s Olympic Qualifier competitor Tyron Amo had enough clear jabs to beat Norway’s young talent, Muslim Yusupov but Poland’s Aleksey Sevostyanov and Wales’ Boxam Tournament winner Connor Williams also advanced to the semi-finals at the men’s 90kg.
