Kevin Scott is the hero of the semi-finals in Warsaw

Sweden’s Kevin Scott delivered the main sensation in the day of the semi-finals at 40^th Feliks Stamm Memorial Tournament in Warsaw, Poland on Day4.

Mr. Feliks Stamm was a legendary boxing coach in Poland who built up fantastic teams in the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s.

Mongolia’s speedy Aldarkhishig Battulga had impressive performance in the recent one year and he bowed out Turkey’s Metehan Adiguzel to meet for the title of the men’s 50kg Italy’s Salvatore Attrattivo who eliminated Poland’s Jakub Slominski.

The next Mongolian, Bilguunsaikhan Kharkhuu caused a small surprise in the next semi-final when he defeated Sweden’s Nebil Ibrahim and his final opponent will be a top star, Uzbekistan’s Mirazizbek Mirzakhalilov who walked over to the title bout.

Poland’s Pawel Brach moved up to the 60kg weight class this year and he had the strong performance against Lithuania’s veteran Edgaras Skurdelis to meet Italy’s Michele Baldassi for the gold medal of the Feliks Stamm.

Uzbekistan’s Olympic Champion Asadkhudja Muydinkhudjayev was too quick for Mongolia’s Battumur Misheelt in the semi-finals of men’s 65kg weight class and he has a super talented final opponent, Bulgaria’s 19-year-old Viktorio Iliev.

Sweden’s Kevin Scott delivered the main sensation of the men’s semi-finals when he eliminated Poland’s two-time Olympian and European Champion Damian Durkacz in a hectic bout. The Swedish No.1 will be boxing with another local boxer for the title of the men’s 70kg, Cezary Znamiec who had also a great performance against Uzbekistan’s Gofurjon Tokhirov.

Uzbekistan’s Youth World Champion Fazliddin Erkinboyev and Bulgaria’s Paris Olympian Rami Kiwan will meet in an exciting 75kg final while two Polish boxers, Adam Tutak and Aleksey Sevostyanov will meet for the gold medal at the 90kg.
