Nearly 30 nations are planning to participate at the Eindhoven Box Cup

Nearly 30 nations have registered to participate in the upcoming Eindhoven Box Cup which will be biggest edition since the international event was launched in 2016.

Algeria, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Chinese Taipei, Croatia, Denmark, England, Finland, France, Germany, Guinea, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Lithuania, Mongolia, Netherlands, Palestine, Poland, Slovakia, Spain, Suriname, Sweden, Ukraine, Uzbekistan and Wales are planning to send their teams to Eindhoven.

Uzbekistan is still waiting for the visas to compete in Eindhoven but two of their Olympic Champions such as Abdumalik Khalokov (60kg) and Asadkhudja Muydinkhujaev (70kg) are planning to show their impressive skills in the event, additionally their Asian Champion Turabek Khabibullayev (90kg) is their third star in the team.

Among the big powers, Kazakhstan have registered also to the Eindhoven Box Cup, their top stars in the event could be the World Champion Makhmud Sabyrkhan (55kg), the three-time World Championships bronze medallist Ablaikhan Zhussupov (70kg) and the Asian Champion Sagyndyk Togambay (90kg).

Medallists from Elite World Championships such as Algeria’s Ichrak Chaib and Mongolia’s duo, Enkhjargal Munguntsetseg and Battumur Misheelt are on the entry list of the Eindhoven Box Cup.

Chinese Taipei’s two-time Olympian Lai Chu En, Kazakhstan’s Youth World Champion Sabyrzhan Akkalykov and Kosovo’s historic World medallist Donjeta Sadiku are the further big names on the registration’s list.

Ukraine’s European U23 Champion Dzhamal Kuliyev and several of the next generation members as Ali Abdullayev of Azerbaijan, Mahammadali Gasimzade of Azerbaijan, Sofia Turbinina of Ukraine, a local boy, Kian Terwint, Lauren Mackie of England and Oliwia Toborek of Poland will also compete in Eindhoven.
