The Portimao Box Cup will start with 600 boxers on the board on June 6

The Portimao Box Cup will be one of the highlights this week, the competition will attract more than 600 boxers from several countries.

The next edition of the Portimao Box Cup will take place on June 6-8 at the Arena Portimao in the sunny Algarve, Portugal where 500 boxers are expected to participate.

Several of the national team members from Portugal, England, Ireland, Switzerland, Luxembourg and Spain will be attending in the Portimao Box Cup.

The event is one of the biggest competitions not only in the region but in the entire continent and it is in significant developing stage.

The organizer of the Portimao Box Cup, Mr. Carlos André Reis arranged an outstanding event in Portugal in the recent years and teams enjoyed the friendly environment.

The Portimao Box Cup will be held for both genders and also for all of the age groups, the schoolgirls, the schoolboys, junior, youth and elite boxers as well.

The Portuguese female and male boxers are also progressed well in the recent three years, their best talents won preliminary contests in big championships as well.

The boxers could compete in the event based on their experiences and total number of bouts to give them fair play. The Portimao Boxing School, the Portuguese Boxing Federation, the Algarve Boxing Association, the city of Portimao and Algarve tourism all support the success of the event.

June 6, 08:00-09:00 – Daily Medical Examination

June 6, 13:00 & 19:00 – Day1 competition

June 6, 18:00 – Official Opening Ceremony

June 7, 13:00 – Day2 competition

June 8, 13:00 – Day3 competition with the finals

June 8-9 – Departure of the delegations
