Khalokov, Bos and Khabibullaev were awarded after the finals of the Eindhoven Box Cup

The strongest ever Eindhoven Box Cup has finished in the Netherlands where Abdumalik Khalokov, Finn Bos and Turabek Khabibullaev won the male awards.

Kazakhstan’s Asian silver medallist Daniyal Sabit was well-prepared against Mongolia’s Aldarkhishig Battulga and he controlled all the rounds against his opponent to take the men’s 50kg title.

The men’s lightweight (60kg) was separated into two groups due to the high number of participants and the Group A was won by Uzbekistan’s Olympic Champion Abdumalik Khalokov against England’s Jack Dryden while Azerbaijan’s 19-year-old Mahammadali Ashuraliyev shined in the Group B.

Mongolia’s Enkhtur Tegshjargal and Ukraine’s Artur Kuzmenko became the winners at the men’s 65kg, the first defeated Palestine’s Tamer Turjman, the second Azerbaijan’s Youth World silver medallist teenage prospect, Ali Abdullayev.

One of the most exciting finals of the Eindhoven Box Cup was held between two superstars, Uzbekistan’s Olympic Champion Asadkhudja Muydinkhudjayev and Kazakhstan’s World medallist Ablaikhan Zhussupov. The Kazakh had the tight advantage on the scorecards after the first round and the ringside doctor stopped their final bout in the second.

Finn Bos proved his strong progress in the recent half year and after Zhussupov’s success, he won the Group B at the 70kg weight class and he was awarded the Best Netherlands Boxer trophy in Eindhoven.

Uzbekistan’s Asian Champion Turabek Khabibullaev moved up to the 90kg weight class this year and he had the strong performance in the final against Hungary’s Milan Kiss to take the title and the Best U23 Award in Eindhoven.

Kazakhstan’s Asian U22 Champion Yerassyl Zhakpekov (80kg), Daulet Tulemissov (85kg) and Nurlan Saparbay (+90kg) all won their weight classes with dominance in the finals.
