WBO orders Abdullah Mason vs. Sam Noakes for vacant lightweight title
Abdullah Mason (19-0, 17 KOs) is expected to fight Sam Noakes (17-0, 15 KOs) for the vacant WBO World lightweight title.
Title became vacant after Keyshawn Davis cause former champion Keyshawn Davis (13-0, 9 KOs) was overweight and his fight on last weekend with Edwin De Los Santos (16-2, 14 KOs) was canceled.
WBO ordered two best ranked fighters to face for vacant title, that will be Mason and Noakes.
Noakes is number one in WBO ranking, and Mason is number two.
