The USA Junior National Olympics & Summer Festival is underway in five rings in Las Vegas

The USA Junior National Olympics & Summer Festival is underway in the busy city of Las Vegas with the participations of hundreds of boxers.

The Las Vegas Convention Center is the venue of the USA Junior National Olympics & Summer Festival in Nevada.

The competition is running in five rings and all of the age groups from the so-called pee wee up to the elite boxers are participating in the national event.

Most of their elite boxers are very young but experienced from several previous national and international competitions while their youth have talents are absolutely world-class.

There were several strong performers in the first competition days and the final sessions could be the highlight of the boxing weekend in the whole globe.

Several of the US boxers who competed at the U19 World Boxing Championships in Pueblo last October, have entered to the USA Junior National Olympics & Summer Festival as well.

Landon John Patricio, Jose Vasquez, Lorenzo Juanito Patricio and Salim Ellis-Bay were the bests in the men’s youth part of the national event. All of them are members of the USA Boxing Youth High Performance Team this year.

The elite US boxers competed at the recent Grand Prix Usti nad Labem with successes and their team will participate at the Kazakhstan’s World Boxing Cup in Astana soon.
