Mbilli knocks-out Sulecki in first round

Christian Mbilli (29-0, 24 KOs) promised to knock-out Maciej Sulecki (33-4, 13 KOs) and he kept his promised. Mbilli stopped Sulecki in the first round on the fight held in Quebec City, Canada on Friday night and won the WBC Interim World super-middleweight title.

Mbilli dropped Sulecki with powerful right uppercut.

 “I feel great. I feel very satisfied with my victory. The emotions are still settling, but I’m very happy”, Mbilli said after the fight.

 “I was expecting everything. I told myself that with every opportunity, he would pay for it. I knew that every time he’d leave an opening, I’d take advantage of it.

“I’m going home to sit down with my team, and we’ll see what happens next. I think there will be some negotiations for an upcoming fight, but in any case, I’m ready for anyone.”
