IBF orders Bivol vs. Eifert

IBF have ordered the champion Dmitry Bivol (24-1, 12 KOs) to fight Michael Eifert (13-1, 5 KOs) for world light-heavyweight title.

Bivol have to make another difficult decision. He already vacated WBC title due to his plans to proceed with trilogy against Artur Beterbiev (21-1, 20 KOs).

“Endlich, endlich, endlich (finally, finally, finally),” Eifert said upon receiving the news for his overdue title shot.

Bivol has to decide if he wants now to vacate also IBF title. Bivol holds also WBA and WBO titles.

If Bivol vacated IBF title then Eifert most likely will face number 2 ranked IBF contender, Conor Wallace (15-1, 11 KOs) for vacant title.
