The Totana International Sparring Camp is underway in the Murcia region with more than 160 boxers

The Totana Training and Sparring Camp is underway in Spain and teams can prepare for their next big goals in a fantastic environment.

The training camp started on July 6 and all of the boxers can make the joint preparation in the Murcia region in Spain until July 12.

Totana is located in the Murcia region of Spain and the Totana Training Camp is open for the junior, youth and elite age groups for both genders.

A former boxer, Mr. Sam Storey is the engine of the event, he is the main organizer of the successful and well-known international sparring camp as in the recent years.

Mr. Sam Storey also arranged boxing events in the past, the best Totana International Tournaments were held in 2015 and in 2016.

The venue of the camp, the Hotel Executive Sport offers wide variety of sports and leisure facilities, including a spa, a swimming pool, a gym, and a mini golf course as well in the sunny Murcia region.

Mostly boxing clubs are there in the preparation camp from several European countries but national teams are also involved to the project. Many of the boxers and the coaches return to this outstanding training and sparring camp every year.

The total number of participating boxers exceeded the 160 and the local organizers arranged five rings to cover all sparring sessions for the delegations.

Netherlands’ duo as the previous Youth World medallists, such as Gabriela Weerheim and Aaliyah Hoppema are the top female boxers of the sparring camp in Totana.

The busy sessions delivered several top quality of contests and most of the participants have beautiful technical skills and boxing knowledge. The participants can increase their tactical experience with several top quality of sparring partners.
