Taylor defeats Serrano in trilogy fight

Katie Taylor (25-1) defeated Amanda Serrano (47-4-1) for the third time and defended her undisputed title in super-lightweight division.

Taylor won on Friday night in Madison Square Garden, New York, via majority decision. Two judges scored the fight 97:93 in favor of Taylor and one saw the fight as draw, 95:95. The third fight was also action packed and close as the first two. In the first fight Taylor won via split decision and in second via unanimous decision (all judges scored 95:94).

In co-main event Alycia Baumgardner (16-1) defended her undisputed title in superfeatherweight division, defeating Jennifer Miranda (12-1) by unanimous decision.

Cherneka Johnson (18-2) won the undisputed title in bantamweight division stopping Shurretta Metcalf (14-5-1) in round nine.

Shadasia Green became unified champion (WBO and IBF) in super-middleweight division, defeating Savannah Marshall (13-2) via split decision.
