The Official Draw of the Brandenburg Cup confirmed the participation of 171 boxers from 19 nations

The Technical Meeting and the Official draw were held in the Brandenburg Youth Cup in Germany where the first day of boxing will consist three sessions.

The number of the female U19 boxers is 50 while 121 male talents from 19 nations are also there in the Brandenburg Cup this year to win the 18 available titles.

Germany had several international competitions during the summer period and their top one is the traditional Brandenburg Youth Cup in Frankfurt an der Oder.

Among the top boxing nations, United States of America, England, Italy, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Canada, Germany, Australia, Hungary, New Zealand, Poland, Sweden, the Netherlands, Romania, and Lithuania are all there in the Brandenburg Cup with several others.

Boxers who were born in 2007 or in 2008 are eligible to participate in the international competition which could be preparation for the main events such as the European U19 Boxing Championships.

The women’s athletes will be boxing at the 48kg, 51kg, 54kg, 57kg, 60kg, 65kg, 70kg, and 75kg weight classes.

The men’s boxers will able to compete in the following categories: 50kg, 55kg, 60kg, 65kg, 70kg, 75kg, 80kg, 85kg, 90kg and +90kg.

The German Boxing Association and the local organizers arranged a pre-training camp for the U19 boxers before the Brandenburg Youth Cup in the recent five days.
