The Bulgarian Boxing Federation extended the deadline of the registrations to the Emil Jechev U19 Youth Memorial Tournament

The management of the Bulgarian Boxing Federation extended the deadline of the upcoming Emil Jechev U19 Youth Memorial Tournament and the National Federations can still register to the prestigious competition.

The U19 youth male boxers will have a busy period in the second part of the year with several events and among them, the Emil Jechev Memorial Tournament will be a highlight in the first days of September.

The new edition of the Emil Jechev Memorial Tournament will be held for the youth men boxers in Sofia, Bulgaria on September 1-6.

The Emil Jechev Memorial Tournament could be a preparation event for the European Boxing’s U19 Championships which will be held in end of September and beginning of October.

Boxers who were born in 2007 and in 2008 will be eligible to compete at the forthcoming international competition.

The next Emil Jechev Memorial Tournament will be a five-days long competition this time and all of the 10 weight classes are in the official program from the 50kg up to the +90kg.

The tournament is dedicated to Mr. Emil Jechev the former President of EABA.

September 1, 19:00 – Technical Meeting

September 1, 19:30 – Official Draw

September 2, 14:00 & 17:30 – Day1 competition

September 3, 14:00 & 17:30 – Day2 competition

September 4, 14:00 & 17:30 – Day3 competition

September 5, 14:00 & 17:30 – Day4 competition with semi-finals

September 6, 15:00 – Day5 competition with the finals

September 7 – Departures of the delegations
