The Mustafa Hajrulahovic Memorial Tournament is in the final stage of boxing

Bosnia & Herzegovina’s next event, the Mustafa Hajrulahovic Memorial Tournament turned into its final phase in Sarajevo where the best youth and elite boxers remained in the event.

The new edition of the Mustafa Hajrulahovic Memorial Tournament is a preparation event for the upcoming main championships and not only European, but Asian countries also joined the competition.

Afghanistan’s Milaad Yaqoubi stopped Kosovo’s Getoar Kryeziu in the second round and his RSC success guarantees his place in the title. The Afghan boxer will meet Bosnia & Herzegovina’s Tarik Huric who defeated his Croatian opponent, Andjelko Luk Crnogorac in the second semi-final of the youth lightweight (60kg).

Bosnia & Herzegovina’s next talent, Rejan Jakupovic has bright future in our sport and he proved his very best against Hong Kong’s Wong Kei Laam to meet for the gold medal Vladimir Davidov of Bulgaria.

Albania’s Ahmed Koci competed in the last edition of the Youth World Boxing Championships in Budva in 2024 and the youth middleweight (75kg) talent dominated his semi-final over Mitar Radic of Serbia.

Serbia’s Anastasija Boskovic had excellent junior and youth boxing career and she is now an elite finalist in Sarajevo where she defeated Croatia’s Karla Tadic at the women’s light middleweight (70kg).

Ukraine’s Maksym Zymenko is a strong puncher but he had to do his very best against Palestine’s Wasim Abusal to reach the men’s elite 55kg final.

Ukraine’s Rasul Guliyev stopped Bosnia & Herzegovina’s Mihajlo Djekic and he will now meet a European medallist, Tomislav Djinovic of Montenegro who walked over to the next round, the finals.

Kosovo’s Planet Berisha eliminated Afghanistan’s Sulaiman King and he can expect a harc battle against Ukraine’s Artur Kasianov.
