Parker vs. Wardley on October 25?

Joseph Parker (36-3, 24 KOs) is in talks to fight Fabio Wardley (19-0-1, 18 KOs) on October 25 in London, sources told “ESPN”.

Parker is WBO Interim World heavyweight champion and is also in line to challenge the undisputed chapion Oleksandr Usyk.

Usyk, due to injury, was given by WBO and extension to start negotiations with Parker.

Parker wants to stay active and is planing to fight Wardley.

Parker last fought on February this year stopping Martin Bakole in round two.

“I’m hoping to lock in a fight very soon,” Parker confirmed in a message to Boxing Scene’s Declan Warrington on Sunday. “I’m keen to fight Usyk, but if I can’t get him, anyone in the top five or ten in the world.”
