Official, Parker will defend his interim title against Wardley on October 25

Joseph Parker (36-3, 24 KOs) will defend his WBO Interim World heavyweight title on O2 Arena, London on October 25 against Fabio Wardley (19-0-1, 18 KOs).

Promoter Frank Warren announced the fight. Winner of the fight will face undisputed champion Oleksandr Usyk.

World Boxing Organization announced that they granted Usyk 90-day medical extension of title defense.

WBO said it allowed Parker to defend title and Usyk then must face interim champion.
