Opetaia vs. Cinkara postponed again, now scheduled for December 6
Jai Opetaia (28-0, 22 KOs) will defend his IBF World cruiserweight title against mandatory challenger Huseyin Cinkara (23-0, 19 KOs) on December 6 in Gold Coast Australia, “Boxing Scene” reports.
They were supposed to fight on same venue on November 2, but the fight has been postponed again.
Cinkara won the title eliminator on April last year, stopping Armend Xhoxhaj in round two. He was supposed to fight Opetaia in December last year, but had to cancel cause of injury,
Cinkara last fought in April this year defeating Juan Diaz in first round. Opetaia defended his title on June this year, stopping Claudio Squeo of Italy in round five.
