Some spaces are still available for the 45th Tammer Tournament

The 45^th edition of the Tammer Tournament will be Finland’s next top event this year, the prestigious event will take place between October 29 and November 3.

Australia, Canada, Denmark, England, Finland, France, Ireland, Norway, Scotland, Slovakia and Sweden have already registered to the next Tammer Tournament.

The women boxers can participate in seven weight categories such as 51kg, 54kg, 57kg, 60kg, 65kg, 70kg and 75kg.

All of the 10 men’s weight categories will be in action in Tampere: 50kg, 55kg, 60kg, 65kg, 70kg, 75kg, 80kg, 85kg, 90kg and +90kg.

The LOC of the Tammer Tournament confirmed that they have still some spaces and boxers can register to the event in nine weight classes.

The Pyynikki Sport Hall is the traditional venue of the Tammer Tournament as in the recent years

The Tammer Tournament was launched in 1977 and the city of Tampere hosted the Men’s Elite World Championships in 1993. Tampere was the host of the 2000 European Championships and Olympic qualification events.
