Ennis destroys Lima in first round

Jaron Ennis (35-0, 31 KOs) made an impressive debut in super-welterweight division.  

Former unified welterweight champion, stopped Uisma Lima (14-2) in first round on Saturday night in Philadelphia and won WBA Interim World super-welterweight title.

Ennis dropped Lima twice and referee Shawn Clark stopped the fight 1:58 minutes in first round.

“The more I move up, the stronger I get,” Ennis said afterward. “This is my division now. I sent a big message tonight.”
