Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, India, China and Iran were the bests in the semi-finals of the Asian Youth Games

The final line-ups are confirmed in the boxing event of the Asian Youth Games in Bahrain where Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, India, China, and Iran are the best nations.  

The women and men boxers from the 2009 and 2010 age groups are eligible to compete in the Asian Youth Games which is one of the most important multisport events of the year.

DPR Korea’s Ma Jong Hyang controlled all of the three rounds against China’s Cui Xinying at the 50kg weight class while Japan has also a female finalist, Miki Kiura who eliminated Tajikistan’s Furugh Sarhadzoda

Uzbekistan’s 15-year-old Kumriniso Mukhammadova had a hard tactical job against Mongolia’s Amina Azjargal and she will now face for the gold medal with India’s Belt & Road Tournament winner Chandrika Boreshi Pujari.

Kazakhstan’s experienced Ayaulym Ospanova defeated Uzbekistan’s Ulbosin Djalgasbayeva in a great semi-final and she will meet for the title India’s Hamoor Kaur who won two out of the three rounds against Chinese Taipei’s Lu Wen Jing.

Kazakhstan’s top male talent, Zhumagali Nurmakhan eliminated Japan’s Kira Hasegawa in a superb semi-final and his next opponent will be India’s Lanchenba Singh Moibungkhongbam at the 50kg final. Kazakhstan’s next top finalist will be Arman Myrsabit who had a difficult semi-final against Tajikistan’s Damir Nazarov.  

Kyrgyzstan’s best junior boxer, Zubair Akramov stopped Tajikistan’s Abubakr Azizov in a one-sided semi-final and his final rival will be Uzbekistan’s Ibrokhim Shokirjonov who bowed out China’s Zhang Zhengkun at the lightweight (60kg) in a hectic bout.

Uzbekistan’s Saidkhudja Sadillakhudjayev accomplished his next goal to reach the final of the boys’ 66kg before his teammate, Asadbek Sultanboyev smashed Iraq’s lone medallist, Zuber Salih Othman at the +80kg.
