The boxing world mourns Mr. Gyula Sullos, the former Vice-President of the Hungarian Boxing Association, the sponsor of our sport and the President of the Vasas Boxing Club.

The Vasas is one of the oldest and best boxing clubs in Budapest, Hungary and the businessman Mr. Gyula Sullos supported them in the recent decades following his father’s traditions in this sport club.
When his father died in 2009, he switched the position in the Vasas Boxing Club and invested huge amounts of money to increase all aspects of boxing.
The boxing hall of the Vasas Sports Club was named after their Olympic Champion from Munich 1972, Gyorgy Gedo.

May his soul will rest in eternal peace but the Boxing Family will never forget his kind personality and huge investment to the sport.
