Harvey Orris won the most important award at the record-breaking King of the Ring Tournament
The 14th King of the Ring Tournament was one of the busiest competitions this year with the participation of record-breaking 665 boxers.
The King of the Ring Tournament was held in its unique location in Boras, Sweden in the recent days and after three busy competition days, the awards were decided by the energetic Competition Director, Mr. Ray Husac and his staff.
The King of the Ring took place for the men’s elite, youth, junior and schoolboys age groups and many of the younger talents used the event as a preparation for upcoming championships.
The competition was held in five rings as in 2024 due to the huge number of participants and the specific gala part of the King of the Ring was also a success.
England’s Harvey Orris from the Leo’s Boxing Gym became the King of the Ring following that he outscored his opponents with precise technical skills.
England’s Tyneside ABC’s Marius Murkula and France’s Red Star Champigny boxer, Doumbia Harouna delivered the best fight of the entire competition in Boras.
Sweden’s top talent in the U19 age, Devine Ejesum of Djurgarden was named as the best boxer among the youth boxers and he showed his future potential.
Norway’s Rene Alejandro Myhre from Tonsberg was announced as the Best Junior U17 boxer of the event and he has received also the Prince of the Ring Award.
Ireland’s Setanta Boxing Academy talent, Tommy Brown was named as the Best U15, the so-called diploma boxer in the King of the Ring Tournament.
United States’ brilliant technician boxer, Cain Elizondo was awarded the Prospect of the Year Trophy and an English boxing club, the Leo’s Gym became the best team in the annual King of the Ring.
Norway’s Christine Reise received the best judge, while England’s Adam Moutfield bagged the best referee trophy in the event.
