Bernd Boente will join DAZN as commentator

German Bernd Boente spent 18 years as manager and CEO for the Klitschko Management Group and has since managed heavyweight prospects Peter Kadiru (20-1) and Viktor Jurk (11-0).

Boente was the man behind most of the big fights with Klitschko brothers in Germany and elsewhere and did a great job with them.

The now 69-year old Boente was formerly a press officer for Universum Box Promotion when they promoted Vitaly and Wladimir Klitschko. When their contract with Universum expired they first joined Sauerland Event but soon became independent operators with TV in Germany from RTL with K 2 as promoters and KMG handling the management.

Boente will now join DAZN as commentator.
