Opetaia defends IBF title with brutal KO over Cinkara

Jai Opetaia (29-0, 23 KOs) has defended his IBF World cruiserweight title in style. Opetaia on Saturday night in Queensland, Australia KO’d Huseyin Cinkara in round eight with a strong left. Opetaia was leading clearly on points until round eight, all judges had scored 69:64 in his favor. For Opetaia it was third title defense of the year. In January he stopped David Nyika in fourth round. In June he stopped Italy’s Claudio Squeo in round fifth.
