Gassiev brutally KOs Pulev, captures WBA “regular” title

Murat Gassiev (33-2, 26 KOs) knocked-put Kubrat Pulev (32-4) in round six and captured the “regular” WBA World heavyweight title.

Fight was held on Friday night in Dubai. 44-year-old Pulev was leading clearly on points until round six, when Gassiev KO-d him with a strong left. Pulev was the regular champion.

In the same show Vadim Musaev (14-0) stopped Tulani Mbenge (22-3) in round three and won the IBO World welterweight title.
