Iglesias-Silyagin negotiations underway for IBF World title fight

Osleys Iglesias (14-0, 13 KOs) is expected to fight Pavel Silyagin (16-0-1, 7 KOs) for vacant IBF World super-middleweight title, “Ring Magazine” reports.

Silyagin team have accepted the challenge and negotiations are underway between “Eye of The Tiger”, which represents Iglesias, and RCC Promotions, which represents Silyagin.

IBF title became vacant after Terence Crawford retired last month.

Iglesias is number 1 contender. He was trying to reach deal with Canelo Alvarez, Jaime Munguia, Hamza Sheeraz but all passed on the chance. Silyagin, which is number 7 ranked, accepted the challenger.

“The Tornado wants to take the world by a storm,” Eye of The Tiger president Camille Estephan told The Ring. “Iglesias is ready to take over.”
