Fury vs. Makhmudov on April 11

Former two-time heavyweight world champion Tyson Fury (34-2-1, 24 KO) will return to the ring on April 11 in United Kingdom. He will face Russia’s Arslanbek Makhmudov (21-2, 19 KOs).

Turki Alalshikh, chairman of Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority announced the fight on Wednesday. It will be streamed on Netflix and promoted by The Ring Magazine.

Fury had announced his retirement from boxing on January last year, after his second loss from Ukraine’s Oleksandr Usyk.

Fury will face Makhmudov which is known for strong punch.

“Excited to be back. Heart’s always been and always will be in boxing. Someone go tell the king that the ace is back!” Fury said.

Makhmudov last fought in October, beating David Allen by unanimous decision.
