Juanfe Gomez defeats Paparo, wins EBU Silver title

Juanfe Gomez (16-2-1) defeated Francesco Paparo (12-2-1) on Saturday night in Milan, and captured EBU Silver super-featherweight title.

Paparo and Gomez were fighting for vacant title. Gomez won a close fight via split decision.

Two judges scored the fight 115:113 in his favour, and one saw Paparo as winner (115:113).

In co-main event Christian Mazzon (15-5) won the Italian middleweight title, defeating Francesco Faraoni (8-1) by split decision.
