All of the medallists are revealed in Bangkok

All of the medallists are revealed at the World Boxing U19 Future Cup in Bangkok during the sixth day of boxing.

England’s Lily Bassett is a multiple European Champion and she stopped Mongolia’s Altanzul Altangadas in the previous round but she was also in shape today to beat Turkey’s Azra Nur Cetin by RSC in the second round.

The next ace at the women’s 48kg category, Uzbekistan’s Asian Junior Champion Maftuna Musurmonova suffered a loss to DPR Korea’s Kim Yu Gyong. The next North Korean, Jon Un Gyong was defeated by England’s European U17 Champion Jaya Kalsi at the 54kg.

Mexico’s first guaranteed medal was achieved by Sofia Ramirez who finished the job against Germany’s Lorin Sayim in the third. Netherlands also celebrated a medal in the competition, their Liz Thijssen had the strong game play to beat Kazakhstan’s Zhasmin Abramyan at the 60kg.

Slovakia’s Karolina Kollarova impressed once again but Uzbekistan’s Rushanabonu Isoyeva won their tight meeting today. India’s duo as Gunjan (48kg) and Joyshree Devi Chirom (54kg) also managed their pathways to the last four.

The men’s 50kg is a super strong category in the event and four amazing boxers such as India’s Ambekar Meetei Lairenlakpam, Romania’s Ionut Calugar, Uzbekistan’s Abdugani Yorkinjonov and Ukraine’s Mykhailo Sydorenko joined the semi-finals.

The men’s 55kg is another outstanding division in Bangkok based on the performance of the boxers and Japan’s Ryusei Kitamura, United States’ Christian Paez, Georgia’s Emil Ismailovi and surprisingly Mexico’s Jonathan Bibriesca became the semi-finalists.

Kyrgyzstan’s Akhmadi Arvaz continued his winning path against England’s Michael Maughan, but Kazakhstan’s Bibarys Ashirbay, Morocco’s Marouane Jaafri and China’s Wu Hao also advanced to the semi-finals at the 70kg.

China’s Zhang Ju defeated Turkey’s Bengisu Karakoc and further boxers joined the semi-finals of the women’s 51kg: Morocco’s Rihab Hamdoune, Uzbekistan’s Nazokat Mardonova and India’s Chandrika Bhoreshi Pujari.
