Jonas to defend IBF title against Mayer on January 20

Britain’s Natasha Jonas (14-2-1) will defend her IBF World welterweight title on January 20 in Liverpool, UK.

She will be up against American Mikaela Mayer (19-1), former world champion in super-featherweight division.

Jonas won IBF title in July last year beating Kandi Wyatt, by stoppage in round eight.

Mayer last fought on September in Manchester, beating on points Italian Silvia Bortot.

In the show in Liverpool on January 20, that will be promoted by Benjamin Shalom, will be several other fights for title.

Jack Cullen (22-4-1) will fight Zak Chelli (14-2-1) for BBBofC British and Commonwealth super-middleweight titles.

Aaron McKenna (17-0) will be up against Linus Udofia (19-2) for WBC International middleweight title.

Mark Jeffers (16-0) will fight Germaine Brown (13-2) for BBBofC English super-middleweight title.
