Does Mbilli belong with Canelo Alvarez?

Camille Estephan hopes super-middleweight contender Christian Mbilli will impress at Quebec’s Videotron Center in August, pressuring big names to fight him. Mbilli, 27-0 (23 KOs), faces Ukrainian veteran Sergiy Derevyanchenko on August 17 in a significant 10-round bout. Estephan believes a standout performance will show Mbilli belongs with Canelo Alvarez and Jaime Munguia. Derevyanchenko, with a 15-5 record, is highly respected and has fought top fighters like Danny Jacobs and Gennady Golovkin. The August winner could secure a major fight in 2025. Estephan also promotes other promising fighters, including heavyweights Guido Vianello and Arslanbek Makhmudov, lightweight prospect Abdullah Mason, and Cuban talent Osleys Iglesias.

Estephan’s Eye of theTiger organization boasts a strong presence in the super-middleweight division with Mbilli, Iglesias and Erik Bazinyan.
