Junto Nekatani will defend WBC title on October 14

Japan’s three-division world champion Junto Nakatani (28-0, 21 KOs) will defend his WBC World bantamweight title on October 14 in Tokyo. He will face Thailand’s Tasana Salapat (76-1, 53 KO’s).

It will be one of three world title fights on the event.

Kosei Tanaka (20-1) will defend his WBO super-flyweight title against Phumelele Cafu (10-0-3) and Anthony Olascuaga (7-1) will face Jonathan Gonzalez for WBO World flyweight title.

It will be a boxing festival at “Ariake Arena” in Tokyo that will be held over two days. On first day on October 13 Takouma Inoue (20-1) will defend his WBA Bantamweight title against Seiya Tsutsumi (11-0-2). Kensiro Teraji (23-1) will fight for vacant WBC flyweight title against Christopher Rosales (37-6), Seigo Yuri Akui (20-2-1) will fight Thailand’s Thananchai Charunphak (25-1) for WBA flyweight title and Shokichi Iwata (13-1) will face Spain’s Jairo Noriega (14-0) for vacant WBO light-flyweight title.
