IBF orders Bakole vs. Ajagba eliminator

International Boxing Federation has ordered Martin Bakole (21-1, 16 KOs) to box Efe Ajagba (20-1, 14 KOs) for the right to become the mandatory challenger for their heavyweight title. Top Rank has informed the IBF that Ajagba is available for the fight
Bakole was first supposed to fight Agit Kabayel for final eliminator. But Kabayel withdrew and is expected to fight China’s Zhang Zhilei on February 22 in Saudi Arabia.

Bakole has looked imperious when stopping Jared Anderson and Carlos Takam in his last two fights.

He is now gunning for a shot at the IBF championship, which Britain’s Dubois defended with his stunning knockout victory over Anthony Joshua at Wembley Stadium in September.
