Canelo Alvarez vs. William Scull on May 3

Saul “Canelo” Alvarez (62-2-2, 39 KOs) will fight William Scull (23-0, 9 KOs) for undisputed super-middleweight title on May 3 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

It’s the first fight of a four-fight deal that Mexican superstar signed with Turki Alalshikh.

“The legend Saul Alvarez will fight William Scull in undisputed fight in Riyadh on the 3rd of May,” Alalshikh posted on social media. “If he win(s) the fight in September (he) will be undisputed again.”

Canelo holds WBC, WBO and WBA world super-middleweight titles and Scull holds IBF World title.

If Canelo wins then he is expected to fight Terence Crawford (41-0) in September.
