Seven nations registered to participate at the Lah Nimani Youth Tournament

The 17th edition of the Lah Nimani Youth Memorial Tournament will be held in Prishtina, Kosovo on May 17-18.

Kosovo Boxing Federation’s international event is a good opportunity for the U19 boxers to meet the region’s best talents and check their current skills before the main championships.

The local organizers made all of the preparations before the start of the competition to arrange a memorable Lah Nimani Memorial Tournament.

Mr. Latif Demolli, Kosovo’s 3-star Referee & Judge and their Secretary General, is the key engine of the Lah Nimani Memorial Tournament.

The venue of the event is the Palace of Youth and Sports in Prishtina, which is the capital city of Kosovo since their independence.

Kosovo, Bulgaria, Croatia, Slovakia, Albania, Montenegro and North Macedonia registered to participate in the annual Lah Nimani Youth Tournament in Prishtina.

One of the best coaches in their homeland, Mr. Faton Xhakli has selected the boxers based on their previous performance who can compete for Kosovo in the event.

Kosovo joined the boxing world in 2012 and their boxers claimed some top results in the level of the Olympic Games, Women’s World Boxing Championships and European Youth Boxing Championships.

The next edition of the Bornemissza Memorial Tournament will be held in Eger, Hungary on May 19-25 just after the Lah Nimani Youth Memorial Tournament.

The 2007 and 2008 born boxers will be eligible to attend in the U19 youth level of boxing in several weight categories.

Slovakia, Kosovo, Albania, Denmark, Bulgaria and many other nations competed successfully in the recent editions of the tournament.
