Allen stops Fisher in rematch

David Allen (24-7-2, 19 KOs) stopped Johny Fisher (13-1, 11 KOs) on Saturday night in UK in round five to avenge the loss he suffered from Fisher last year.

Allen stopped fisher in an explosive fashion in round five, with what could be a knockout of the year contender.

In the first fight between them in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on December 21 last year, Fisher was awarded with split decision victory (95:94, 93:96 and 95:94) even though he suffered a knockdown in that fight in round five.

But on Saturday night Allen didn’t let to go on points and he won in spectacular fashion.

“The first fight did me the world of good,” Allen said afterwards.

“I put a bit of weight on for the body shots. I knew it would pay dividends, took the risk and got [the title]. I’m the fattest, hardest man you’ll ever see.
