Usyk stops Dubois to become two-time undisputed heavyweight champion

Oleksandr Usyk (24-0, 15 KOs) knocked-out Daniel Dubois (22-3, 21 KOs) on Saturday night in Wembley and became again undisputed world heavyweight champion.

Usyk was more convincing in the rematch against Dubois. He dropped Dubois twice in round five. 38-year-old won the first fight in August 2023 via KO in round nine.

Usyk now holds all major title belts in heavyweight division (WBC, WBA, WBO, IBF and IBO) for the second time in his career. He became undisputed in heavyweight when he beat Tyson Fury in their first fight on May 18, 2024. Usyk was also undisputed in cruiserweight division.

After the win against Dubois, Usyk said he will have little rest then he will think for next fight. As potential opponents he mentioned trilogy against Tyson Fury, also he mentioned Derek Chisora, Anthony Joshua and Joseph Parker.

Dubois, who came in the fight as IBF champion, said that he will learn from this loss.

In co-main event in Wembley on Saturday night, Lawrence Okolie (22-1) defended his WBC Silver heavyweight title beating by unanimous decision Kevin Lerena (31-4).
