Mr. Felipe Martinez – I would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations to the Hungarian Boxing Association

The President of the Royal Spanish Boxing Federation, Mr. Felipe Martinez was another top guest in the Hungarian Boxing Association’s 100^th anniversary which took place in Budapest a few days ago.

The Hungarian Boxing Association was established on August in 1925 and arranged a fantastic show.

Mr. Felipe Martinez was a boxer, a coach and the regional official before entering to the position as President of the Royal Spanish Boxing Federation in 2016.

Under his leadership, the boxing life in Spain dramatically increased and the country claimed medals in all of the main events as the Olympic Games, World Championships, European Games and European Boxing Championships.

Spain’s next event will be the Boxam Youth-Junior-Schoolboys-Schoolgirls Tournament for three age groups in La Nucia, Alicante region on October 6-12.

“I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely congratulate to the Hungarian Boxing Association on the perfect organization of its Centenary celebration.

The event was a true success, thanks to the excellent work of all the staff, the flawless set-up, and the warm hospitality extended by the Hungarian Boxing Association.

It is clear that, under the leadership of Mr. István Kovács, the Hungarian Boxing Association is capable of achieving great things and delivering the results that Hungarian boxing deserves and expects.

It was also a very special moment to see the Olympic Champion back in the ring, boxing together with the President of World Boxing, Mr. Boris van der Vorst of the Netherlands. That was truly a memorable highlight.

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the event and I would once again like to extend my heartfelt congratulations for everything that was accomplished,” said the President of the Royal Spanish Boxing Federation, Mr. Felipe Martinez.
