Gojko, Varga, Amadori and Teresi were among the winners at the Silesian Open

Oliwia Gojko, Vivien Varga, Mira Amadori and Maloe Teresi were among the winners at the 20^th edition of the Silesian Women’s Open Tournament in Gliwice on Day2.

Oliwia Gojko claimed a silver medal at the recent European Schoolgirls Boxing Championships and she started her campaign at the Silesian Open with a success over Germany’s Laura Lipfert at the 40kg.

Poland’s Sandra Wisniewska was born in a boxing family and she proved her talent against Ireland’s Ava Harford at the U15 age group while her teammate, a European medallist, Patrycja Luczak dominated the opener in Gliwice.

Vivien Varga was the best boxer at the recent Hungarian U15 National Cup and Hungarian U13 National Championships and she had the strength and stamina to beat a local boxer, Lena Kwatera by 4:1 split decision.

Kazakhstan’s Lashyn Dauletzhan achieved a silver medal at the 2024 Asian Schoolgirls Boxing Championships and she joined the U17 age group this January. The 15-year-old Kazakh controlled most of the exchanges against Italy’s Giorgia La Rosa and she marched to the next stage of boxing.

Italy’s European Schoolgirls bronze medallist Mira Amadori had the routine to beat Germany’s Meriem Durmaz at the 57kg before her compatriot, Rachele Perna stopped Poland’s Sandra Sowa at the 60kg among the U17 girls.

The European medallists at the U19 54kg such as France’s Maloe Teresi and Hungary’s Sara Nyogeri both eliminated their strong Kazakh and Polish rivals on Day2.

Czech Republic’s European Youth medallist Claudia Totova won the lone elite contest of the second competition day, she defeated Germany’s Esmanur Ceylan at the 51kg.
