More than 300 boxers will compete at the European U15 Boxing Championships in Budva next month

More than 300 boxers will compete in the upcoming European U15 Boxing Championships in the picturesque Mediterranean city of Budva in Montenegro between October 16 and 26.

Montenegro arranged several big events in the recent years since Mr. Aleksandr Klemenko became the President of the national boxing governing body.

Budva was the host of the Youth World Boxing Championships, the European Women’s Boxing Championships, European U22 Boxing Championships, European Cup and several other big events in the previous five years.

The U15 age group, or previously known as schoolgirls and schoolboys, means the 2011 and 2012 born boxers are eligible to participate in Budva.

Mr. Aleksandr Klemenko underlined in his specific letter that the Montenegro Boxing Association is ready to ease the payment options for the National Federations with individual preferences to make a memorable championship in Budva.

The arrival day for the competition is October 16, the first competition day is October 18 while the finals will take place on October 25.

The new European Boxing’s first and historic U15 Championships is a milestone for the organization and it will be the second continental event, short after the U19 Championships which will be held in Ostrava.

There will be international preparation events in Germany and in Spain just before the European U15 Boxing Championships.
