Thorslund vs. Furtado now for WBC Interim title

Dina Thorslund (23-0) fight against Lila Furtado (11-3) on January 31 in Kolding (Denmark) will now be for the WBC interim title in featherweight division.

The MVP promoted Thorslund gave up her WBC and WBO bantamweight titles earlier this year when she became pregnant but after a miscarriage she decided to come back. The first fight in her comeback will be at featherweight though – and now for a world title even if it is for an interim version.

WBC champ is Tiara Brown.

Headlining the Kolding show is Jacob Bank (17-0) defending the WBO Global super middleweight title against William Scull (23-1).
