World Champions and Olympic medallists prepare together in the Spanish International Training Camp

Top stars are participating in the Spanish International Training Camp in Benidorm-La Nucia at the Alicante region including World Champions, Olympic medallists and Commonwealth Games winners.

Altogether 170 boxers and coaches are there in the Spanish International Training Camp which made the sessions busy in the sport city of La Nucia.

Chinese Taipei, England, Kazakhstan, Netherlands, Scotland, Slovakia, Spain, Switzerland, Ukraine and Wales all are there in the joint training camp to prepare together for the upcoming Boxam Elite Tournament.

Kazakhstan’s defending World Champions such as Sanzhar Tashkenbay, Makhmud Sabyrkhan, Torekhan Sabyrkhan and Aibek Oralbay are all participating in the camp. Aibek’s twin brother, Nurbek Oralbay and the Asian Champion Sagyndyk Togambay are also among the stars of the Kazakh team.

Chinese Taipei’s Olympics bronze medallist Wu Shih Yi has registered to the training camp and she started her preparation in the camp. Her compatriot, the World Champion and the Paris Olympics bronze medallist Chen Nien Chin is the next star of the training camp.

Spain’s Olympic bronze medallist Emmanuel Reyes, the European Elite Champion Martin Molina and the European U23 Champion Oier Ibarreche are all strengthening the host nation’s squad in the camp.

Ukraine’s former World Champion Yuriy Zakharieiev, Netherlands’ U19 World Champion Maud Van der Toorn, Wales’ returning boxer, the Commonwealth Games star Rosie Eccles and Slovakia’s rising star, Karolina Kollarova are all there in La Nucia.

The international pre-training camp are holding in La Nucia between January 25 and February 2 while the Boxam Tournament will feature after that.

Spain is active in boxing map with growing business and their prestigious Boxam Elite Tournament will start on February 3.
