World Champions and Olympic medallists are on the board at the Boxam Tournament in Spain this year

The Boxam Elite Tournament opened with the Technical Meeting and the Official Draw in La Nucia, Alicante region in Spain.

The international training camp has just finished in the boxing city of La Nucia and the Boxam Tournament is on the focus this week.

Belgium, Canada, Cape Verde, Czech Republic, Denmark, England, Estonia, France, India, Kazakhstan, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland, Scotland, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Chinese Taipei, Thailand, Ukraine, and Wales are participating in the event.

Altogether 21 nations from four continents and 214 boxers will be competing in the Boxam Elite Tournament this year.

Strong 90 women and 124 men boxers registered and 15 Referees & Judges will be working in the competition.

Mr. Tomas Smid, the Technical Delegate introduced the planned competition schedule, the key rules, the medical and anti-doping procedures, the coaches requirements, the equipment, the boxers uniform guide, the opening ceremony, the medal ceremonies, and the disciplinary codes.

One of the biggest boxing stars of the super heavyweight, Mr. Lennox Lewis visited the finals of the last edition of the Boxam Tournament on February 2025 which marked the importance of the Spanish competition.

The Royal Spanish Boxing Federation’s President Mr. Felipe Martinez and his team arranged top quality events in the recent years.

The city of Benidorm and La Nucia can provide many activities, top restaurants and vibrant Mediterranean-style life for the delegations.
