Ghazwani and Agathe made Saudi Arabia and Mauritius proud in Bangkok
Saudi Arabia’s Naif Ghazwani and Mauritius’ Julian Agathe delivered historic victories at the World Boxing U19 Future Cup in Bangkok today.
India’s Radhamani Longjam and Uzbekistan’s Farzuna Ruziyeva both are fantastic talents in our sport but they had to meet already in the Round of 32. The Indian shocked the Uzbek girl with her effectiveness and strong attacks therefore Longjam joined the last 16.

Japan’s Ryusei Kitamura and India’s Udham Singh Raghav had an impressive contest in the second day of boxing and the difference was tiny between them. The Japanese had the better punches in the decision-making last round and he won the bout by 3:2 split decision.
Sweden’s Zaheer Changazi outpointed Australia’s Marley Dodd and he was also secured his place in the last 32. Georgia’s Emir Ismailovi was not only taller than Hong Kong’s Chit Fung Liem but he stopped his opponent in the first round.
Naif Ghazwani made history for Saudi Arabia in the session when he eliminated Italy’s Francesco Zonile. The Italian was counted in the first round and despite his great middle period, the Saudi talent found the way back to beat Zonile.
Tajikistan’s Amirbek Makhramov won his second contest in Bangkok where he was too smart for New Zealand’s Israel Reece. Mauritius’ new sensation, Julian Agathe made the same tough performance, he stopped Hong Kong’s Tang Kit Fu at the 60kg.
