Adames defeats Williams, defends WBC World middleweight title

Carlos Adames (25-1-1, 18 KOs) defended his WBC World middleweight title on Saturday night in Orlando, USA.

Adames defeated Austin Williams (20-2) via unanimous decision. All three judges saw Adames as clear winner (117:109, 117:109 and 118:108). Adames dropped Williams once in round two.

For Adames was first fight since February last year, when he had a split draw against Hamzah Sheeraz in his title defense.

Adames said he is ready for rematch against Sheeraz.
