The Asian Elite Boxing Championships will start with top quality boxers on March 30

More than 25 nations and at least 230 boxers will participate at the upcoming Asian Elite Boxing Championships in Mongolia’s capital city, in Ulaanbaatar.

The Asian Elite Boxing Championships will start with its first competition day on March 30 while the finals are divided into two parts and will take place on April 9 and 10.

The busy city of Ulaanbaatar hosted the 2019 Asian Youth Boxing Championships and one of the World Boxing events in September 2024.

The host Mongolians have high potentials with Enkhjargal Munguntsetseg, Namuun Monkhor, Aldarkhishig Battulga, and Bilguunsaikhan Kharkhuu in their line-ups.

Kazakhstan’s Sanzhar Tashkenbay, Makhmud Sabyrkhan, Torekhan Sabyrkhan and Aybek Oralbay are all of the reigning World Champions from Liverpool but Elina Bazarova, Valentina Khalzova, Nurbek Oralbay, and Sagyndyk Togambay are also involved to the team.

Uzbekistan’s World Champion Fazliddin Erkinboyev, the Asian Champion Asilbek Jalilov and all of their impressive young girls could be sensations in Ulaanbaatar.

China Olympic Champion Wu Yu, Zhao Xuan, Yang Chengyu, Li Shu and the super talented Alimire Abudureyimu will strengthen their powerful female squad.

India’s Olympic bronze medallist Lovlina Borgohain, the two-time World Champion Nikhat Zareen and Preeti all returned to the team which will lead Mr. Santiago Nieva once again.

Japan’s Olympic bronze medallist Tsukimi Namiki is back on track while their male World Champion Sewon Okazawa is still also hungry for his next top achievement.

Chinese Taipei’s top girls, the Olympic Champion Lin Yu Ting, and their World Champions as Huang Hsiao Wen and Chen Nien Chin all are on the board in the event.

Tajikistan’s defending Asian Champion Akmal Ubaydov, the World bronze medallist Bakhodur Usmonov and their female No.1, Mizhgona Samadova will all compete in Ulaanbaatar.

DPR Korea, Jordan, Kyrgyzstan, Philippines, South Korea, Turkmenistan and Vietnam all have the potential to make surprises in the event.
